Apple’s DRM policies are not all that restrictive. If you want to buy an MP3 through iTunes, you most certainly can - so long as the artist or label allow you to do so. That’s not Apple’s fault, is it? #.
But the last time I checked Apple offers over 2 million DRM-free tracks with AAC encoding. AmazonMP3 too offers over 2 million DRM-free tracks but in MP3 format. Its Apple who chose AAC for DRM-free music not labels or artists. Now tell me whose fault is it Chris.

Against all odds Kimi Raikkonen won the Brazillian Grand Prix and his first 2007 F1 Drivers Championship. Congrats Kimi. More on how Lewis Hamilton blew his chances laters.

Silly iPhone Cover Flow
When you are browsing through a playlist in iTunes and click on Cover Flow view, you can view album art of all the songs just in that playlist. But on iPhone, the Cover Flow view shows album art of all the songs on my iPhone even when I am playing or browsing a playlist. It just doesn’t make any sense. BTW I am still on 1.02 firmware. Can anyone please confirm if this sillyness still exists in latest 1.1.1 firmware.
Lots of iPod and music related news from Apple yesterday which doesn’t make me buy another iPod, but I did order an iPhone.
