If you save shortcuts for most frequently used applications in quick launch instead of desktop like me, here’s some shortcuts to fire them up using keyboard. Win+1, Win+2, Win+3 and so on to launch each application. For example, Win+4 launches Firefox from the above picture and Win+7 launches Flock. This works no matter what application has the focus. I have tried this on XP and the shortcuts wont work. This only works on Windows Vista. Cool tip.

This is a pretty damn nifty feature!! Maybe some one will make a program/shell hack to do this in XP.
Hey Bharat,
Thanks so much for the 3-column K2 template. And you’re right it’s the best WordPress template around and a worthy successor to Kubrick.

Back in the early days of Longhorn (Vista’s code name while in development) Microsoft were very quick to tell every body how good, cutting edge and a head of it’s time it will be and yes it was back in 2001 but now in 2007 it has become old school in big way. It was always intended to come out with a whole new file system to the replace prehistoric NTFS file system and was going to revolutionize the world.
