I have been watching Formula one only from the end of the 1999 season when Micheal Schumacher came back from a leg injury of his high speed crash at Silverstone. After watching almost every race from then, I have started collecting videos of previous years races which I missed. Recently I found this video of spectacular crash at 1998 Belgian Grand Prix where 16 cars crashed. The Formula one archives says only 14 people retired though. But still its a must watch video. Njoy.

I remember seeing this. I think I was watching the race live on TV. It was a pretty spectacular crash.
Hi Chris, I think i never watched F1 before the end of 1999 season and I am trying to collect all the videos including this crash race.
that’s really a HUGE crash…to the racers,it was a disaster,to us,it’s really spectacular.
i just wondering why the races now feels much more boring? In this season Only Imola and Hungarian GP made my blood hot.
I’m pretty sure that Schumacher drove like a god in the rain after this until David Coulthard shunted him from behind at high speed on a low speed bend.
Perhaps it was the other way around. Either way, I remember the massive crash well and I remember it as the race where Schumacher removed any doubt as to his ability as a master of rain driving.
